I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these towels. I bought several sets on sale - white, ivory, tan, mauve and cinnamon. I bought them with the washcloths "buy both and save". I prewashed them after they arrived. They washed and dried just fine, no fraying or excessive shedding. I have never bought Egyptian cotton before and was amazed at how thick these towels are. They are the softest towels I have ever owned. I must have ordered the oversized towels, as they are larger than the other bath towels I own. They are wonderful to wrap yourself in after your shower and are very absorbent. The washcloths are super soft and also oversized, especially compared to other washcloths I have purchased in the past. Even my husband commented how nice he thought the towels were. I was very surprised - and glad - to see Made In U.S.A. on the tag. I would buy these towels again.

I purchased the chair cover to cover my electric wheelchair (Jazzy) when transporting it on a carrier on the rear of my vehicle. The cover protects it against the elements such as dust and rain. The size fits perfectly and I am well satisfied with the product. The cost was less than covers made for wheelchairs.

I have been through my fair share of printers... inexpensive ones anyway. And after owning a Brother HL, I switched to the Lexmark E120 because of the price and speed of print jobs. This printer is great for our small office and I have it set up so that all of the faxes my husband receives via his PC spool right to this printer. The printer is fast and the copies are nice and clear. We have had no problems with the printer with the exception of toner cartridges. The last ones I ordered came in sealed plastic bags and when you opened the bags, you had toner EVERYWHERE!! I recommend buying non-refurbished toner cartridges unless you know of a better place to get them than where I got my last ones. I give this printer a 5 star rating because it is inexpensive compared to most laser printers, it is fast, and my husband can use it with no "tech support" from me. Great little printer and we use it alot!

I had the same problem as a previous reviewer. After printing about 500 pages, the printer locked up with a region error code. The prints were fine and no 'low toner' indication was given, as had a previous cartridge. The Lexmark tech offered to verify the region code on the cartridge, but seemed like a waste of time as it was obviously North America and was working fine prior to the problem. This feature makes an already expensive cartridge all the more expensive. I will try one more cartridge and if that fails get rid of the printer.

Can You Imagine 5095 Review by Dennis

The mini laser show that I had purchased was nothing but a piece of junk. When I received it, it did not work at all. The laser did not turn on when I put in the batteries and tried to see the "laser show." The only thing that worked was the spinning mirrors in the machine. Before I discovered that it was broken, I was disappointed by the laser's size. It seemed extremely small and fragile. It was most likely damaged during shipping, but I am definitely not keeping this. It will be returned to the seller. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Just received this to give to my kids for a Christmas present. However, after testing it, I will be returning it.

Pros =
* Decent price
* Bright images and had fun changing the shapes. I could create small and large images (filled up the wall leading to the basement).

Cons (reasons for returning) =
* The motor keeps making a horrible, piercing noise during use. This is on top of the normal loud noice from the motor. I believe it is damaged.
* After watching the red images on the wall for a few minutes, my eyes felt like I had been staring into a bright light or sun. It lasts only a few minutes, but enough to consider this not suitable for my children. My husband had the same effect. (NOTE: we did NOT at any time stare directly at the lens/light, just at the images on the wall).

We got this for a Haunted Trail inside a "cave" with fog machines. The device itself is very compact, portable and easy to use. Has a nifty kickstand and can run in MANUAL mode-- where you change the beam and mirrors-- or AUTO-- where the unit itself loops through a pre-programmed show of all its different effects. Runs on 2-AA batteries that lasted well over two hours set on full AUTO. My biggest disappointment was the brightness. It looked quite cool through the fog, but wasn't very bright considering we were inside a "cave". Other than that, I was very happy with it and will use it next year.

best candy thermometer I have ever used. purchased an additional this year as a spare. I make extensive cooked candy recipes (caramels/toffee/brittle,etc) during the holiday. since I got this thermometer I have had perfect candies every time. I always check my thermometer daily for boiling temp. The minerals in the water as well as altitude can affect the boiling point by a few degrees or as much as 12-15 degrees. Works best on a kettle with no lipped edge.Like the flexibilty in viewing screen.

American Weigh ONYX-5K-RED Review by SC Chiam

I ordered 3 units of this Onyx Super Slim Kitchen Scale (11lbs) to bring back for my family and friends in Singapore, as I like the slim profile of the scale and my previous AWS scales had been working perfectly.

One of the unit was found to be faulty out of the box. The LCD display cannot display the digits and the units on the top correctly. I've taken pictures of the faulty display, hopefully I can post it later on. I've tried to remove the batteries and change them with newly-purchased batteries, but to no avail. The problem persisted.

Concerned with the remaining 2 units, I am forced to unpacked the units for testing (which is supposed to be gifts for my friends). The 2 units seemed to be working fine.

Overall, this is a bad experience for me, as I always thought that products from AWS should be of top quality. I've purchased at least 6 units of AWS kitchen scales (including this transaction) from Amazon and I have been an happy customer until I received this faulty unit. To make thing worse, I've already brought the units back to Singapore before I unpacked them, so it is impossible for me to send in for a refund/exchange.

Will probably avoid this product from AWS in future.

I just bought this a couple weeks ago, and the product just doesn't work. It keeps freaking out. Wont turn on - - then wont turn off - - Wont change to correct measuring format. Numbers all over the place. You never know when or if the weight is correct. Just a waste of money (but it looks really cool - so if you want a neat counter space taker upper, it cant be beat. I'm going back to my $5.95 manuel scale.

These seem to work pretty well, wish I had a set of weights to check accuracy :)

My only issue: the on/off/tare button sometimes double-triggers and it's hard to turn off.

But I love the look and desigh - I got these, because they're similar to what Alton Brown uses on Good Eats - they're flat and can be covered by plastic wrap (to keep clean) and just plain easy to store.

Better price than others I found.

One of the reasons I bought this was to assist me as a newbie in radio control model aircraft flying. Landing is made more difficult as the wind becomes stronger, especially if the landing is not directly into the wind.

When simply blowing at the impeller of this anemometer and watching it gradually slow and stop, I was struck at how unbalanced it is as manifested by the impeller usually rotating in the opposite direction at least a small amount just as it stops. The only explanation I can think of is that the heavier side of the impeller is going to the bottom. When using this machine in the wind, there is a mild but definite vibration -- again, the only thing that I can think of is imbalance.

With radio control airplanes, balancing the propeller is important to avoid imbalance that can cause vibration which could lead to weakening of the airframe and loss of the model in a crash. With the anemometer, the impeller bearings may wear excessively, but this type of anemometer seems to me unlikely to be used sufficiently for that to happen. Accuracy, especially at low wind speeds, would be my main concern.

I put this into my auto's windstream and it agreed with the speedometer from about 10 to 60 mph. So it seems reasonably well calibrated.

I'm going to keep this. The price is reasonable. The electronics and display are well done. But I'm disappointed that a simple and important step, balancing the impeller, was not done to make this a much better product.

I do basic weather watching for the National Weather Service. I have always wanted to measure wind speeds, living on the East coast in hurricane area, but wasn't sure what to get and which one was trustworthy. I was reading about this Anemometer and it appeared to be good and the price was great. I ordered it and it works great so far. Had it a little over a month and it is holding up good. It is simple to use and shows outside temp. readings also. The neck strap I love so I don't have to worry about dropping it. I would recommend this one to anyone who wants to measure wind speeds. The only negative thing I could say is I wish it measured wind speeds up to like 100 mph or more...but I guess I wouldn't be standing up very long if it did...lol

Indeed, it's quiet, but there's a disclaimer in the instruction manual that basically says that the higher speeds are loud and the lowest setting is the quiet setting. I really like it.

At first glance I was like oh crap it's too small. once I plugged it in it was like wow. Strong air flow great design its as if the wind is blowing in your house. I recommend if you can't afford an air conditioner right now. at around 70 bucks i'm not upset with my purchase

I read the reviews prior to purchase. Several of them spoke of the 'noise'. As I was purchasing this fan to create 'white noise' I assumed that was what they were referring to. Upon delivery the fan worked as promised. This lasted until the day after I through the shipping box away. Then it began to create a grinding noise which got continually worse until I was concerned for our homes safety. Right now the fan is awaiting a trip to the 'Convenience Center' to be thrown away as trash. By the way, we received it approx. two weeks prior to this review.
